The purpose of this blog is to encourage Christ followers to bring their faith to work.
Work is not something we do apart from God, as the secular worker would view it. Even Christ followers have tended to live compartmentalized lives, leaving their faith as a religious practice on Sunday and putting on a different face at work.
As Christ followers, our jobs are an extension of our purpose – not just to evangelize, but to incorporate the tenets of our belief in everything we do. Sharing the Gospel is part of it. However, we can testify to the good news also by exhibiting love, patience, kindness and Godly wisdom.
In business, strategists and influencers are always looking to find an edge; an upper hand in the marketplace.
Through Christ, we can Speak a Better Word in the workplace than any other motivational speech, strategy or process. By living out our faith, we can advance the Kingdom and create conversations that allow everyone to thrive.
“Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to myriads of angels in joyful assembly, to the congregation of the firstborn, enrolled in heaven. You have come to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”
