Live a life worthy of the calling you have received
If I had to sum up my life in one word, it’s grateful. I am grateful that God extended an opportunity to live with Him forever by the sacrifice of His son. Out of that gratitude comes a desire to live a life worthy of the gift.
I’m grateful that God has blessed me with a beautiful family: my wonderful wife Missi and my four children: Lincoln, Henry, Colleen and Asher (not pictured :)).
And I’m even grateful for the hard stuff, like having Crohn’s Disease.
Life isn’t easy, and I’m constantly aware of my own imperfection everyday. But I’m grateful that God has given me the strength to go beyond my struggles to see His faithfulness. The desire of my life is to listen to what God has for me, and live my life according to that calling (Ephesians 4:1).
In my work, I focus on building relationships with customers – business development. As part of the role, I strive to attain genuine trust with the person across the table. In my experience, there’s no substitute for being authentic.
My work takes up a large part of my day-to-day, but it isn’t my purpose in life. It is an extension of my purpose, allowing me to use my gifts to sow into the greater meaning of life. I want what I do to be influenced by who I am, not the other way around.
As I’ve grown in confidence, I’ve found that bringing Christ to work is a vital component of living out my calling. I hope this resource encourages you to feel the same.
Thank you for visiting. I hope we can have meaningful conversations about who God is, who we are, and why we’re here. Feel free to reach me via my cell # or email address above.
